Slow Poke and Fly Ballers played to a 13-13 tie on Thursday at Angel Stadium.

The top of the first saw Fly Ballers take an early lead, 5-0. Slow Poke matched its three-run second inning with three more in the fifth. In the second, Slow Poke scored on a three-run home run by Clay, bringing home Tanner and Trevor.

Slow Poke answered Fly Ballers' top inning with two runs of its own in the third. Slow Poke scored on a sacrifice fly by Rex and an RBI single by Tanner. Sage lead the way with three hits for Slow Poke.

Pokes defense cost them the win with costly errors and overthrows.











8pm vs Sigler Heat (A National)

Sigler Heat petition Big League Dreams to send Slow Poke to AA Division after giving up 75 runs in two games. 



A 16-run explosion in the first inning carried Slow Poke to a 29-3 win in five innings over Sigler Heat at Angel Stadium on Thursday. 

Doug racked up eight RBIs on five hits for Slow Poke. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the first inning, and singled in the second, third, and fourth innings. 

Lamar scored five runs going five for five on five plate appearances with five total bases and four RBI's. He should have ended with five RBI's but Clay was unable to score from second on a single to center in the third inning.

Slow Poke pounded Sigler Heat pitching, as eight hitters combined for 32 hits, 28 RBIs and 26 runs scored.

Slow Poke scored four runs in the second inning, and then followed it up with four more in the fourth. In the second, Slow Poke scored on an RBI double by Mike, scoring Zak.

Slow Poke piled on five more runs in the bottom of the third. Clay started the inning with a double, scoring Trevor and Sage.

Clay came across the plate in the third inning on a sacrifice fly by Mark bringing his career runs scored total to 100.
