Polo Grounds
7pm vs Grassholes (A)
L 13-16

Slow Pokes started the game on the right track after Grassholes put up three runs in the top of the first.  Pokes answered by scoring eight runs on seven hits in the bottom of the first.  Sage and Zak each walked to start the inning followed by RBI hits from Chip, Rex, Trevor, Mike, and Sage. The rest of the game consisted of too many missed opportunities at the plate and some pretty sketchy defensive plays.  Grassholes chipped away at the lead and eventually sealed the win as Zak missed a perfect pitch by popping out to end the game.

Mike and Lamar ended the game with three hits apiece.  Lamar blasted a HR to center in the sixth and Mike hit two doubles off the wall in left.

Lisles first game back after a strenuous training assignment in the 85 and older league showed to be beneficial.  He went back to his strong point of slapping the ball to right field going 3 for 3 with a walk.

Clay stats (0-0, -4.5 runs).

Chase Field
9pm vs Fly Ballers (AA)
W 27-10

Pokes continued the first inning domination with hit after hit.  Sage had a huge first inning hitting an RBI triple to score Zak and then ending the inning with a three run homer.  The rest of the team hit RBI singles one after another until there were 10 runs on the scoreboard.

The second inning wasn't much different as the team put up another 11 runs.  Pokes hit three homeruns (Clay, Jim, and Zak) and three triples (Lamar, Lisle, and Sage) in the inning.

Trevor is settling into the five hole in the lineup once again hitting a homerun.  This time... it was for the first homerun out of the season. It's safe to say Trevors bat is juiced.

Lisle finished the game 4 for 4 with a double and a triple and three RBI's.  He now leads the team with a batting average of 1.000.

It was a big game for Sage as he went 5 for 5 with a 3 run homerun, four triples, and six RBI's.
