Josh Probst clubbed two home runs to carry Slow Poke to a 30-8 win over The Strand at Fenway in five innings.
Probst, racked up nine RBIs on three hits for Slow Poke. He homered in the first and second innings and doubled in the third inning.
Clay Wagner went five for five with a bushel of extra base hits. He ended with two doubles, two triples, and six RBI's.
Twenty-four runs in the first three innings helped Slow Poke blow out The Strand . An RBI double by Clay Wagner an RBI single by Jim Seiferth, a home run by Josh, and an RBI single by Lisle in the first inning and an RBI double by Clay, a three-run home run by Josh, an RBI single by Lisle, a two-run triple by Zak Randall, an RBI single by Sage Randall, a two-run triple by Clay, and an RBI single by Jim, during the second inning supplied the early offense for Slow Poke.
Slow Poke pounded The Strand pitching, as nine hitters combined for 27 hits, 30 RBIs and 28 runs scored.
Shelby capped off the game with a three-run home run.
7pm vs Hit or Miss (A)
W, 18-9
After Hit or Miss scored three runs to open the game Pokes responded quickly by putting up seven in the bottom half and then another eight in the second.
Slow Poke never looked back with Jim setting the pace with five hits. Tanner provided the run support with a season high four RBI's.
Over all a great performance by the whole team.
