Trevor shines on the mound as Pokes put away Gilbert Pizza a rain soaked night.
Tanner was put in the leadoff spot which proved too much for him as he popped up to start the game. The first inning didn't fare well after that with Pokes leaving runners on first and second with only one out. Landon and Shelby hit towering fifty foot pop outs to end the inning.
Gilbert Pizza managed to score a run in the first and second innings on a throwing error...we'll call it rain induced.
Pokes took over in the second after some solid line drives. Landon capped off the inning with a grand slam with two outs. Pokes kept the lead the remainder of the game.
Landon had a solid game ending with 6 RBI's, while Sage paced the way with four hits three of which were doubles.
