Slow Poke outlast Sox 2 B U (A) in high-scoring affair, 25-19

Scoreboard operators were busy at Fenway Park on Thursday as Slow Poke and Sox two B U combined for 44 runs. Slow Poke eventually won the offensive battle 25-19 in six innings.

Slow Poke blew out Sox two B U thanks to 33 hits, including 12 extra base hits. Slow Poke scored eight runs in the third on an RBI double by Clay Wagner, an RBI single by Jordan Richardson, an RBI single by Shelby Adair, a home run by Landon Watts, and an RBI triple by Josh Probst.

Clay had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits.

Trevor Houston got the win for Slow Poke despite allowing 19 runs over six innings. 

Slow Poke easily handled Sox two B U pitching as 10 hitters combined for 33 hits, 25 RBIs and 25 runs scored.

The top of the first saw Slow Poke take an early lead, 5-0. A solo blast by Clay started the inning off. The scoreboard lit up again for Slow Poke when Richardson and Houston scored on a two-run triple by Skyler Ferguson, Ferguson scored on an RBI single by Shelby, and Adair scored on an RBI double by Josh Haslam.

Slow Poke scored six runs in the second inning, and then followed it up with six more in the fifth. In the second, Slow Poke scored on an RBI single by Trevor, plating Josh Probst.

Comeback kills Slow Poke's hopes in 20-13 loss to ADT Restoration (AA)

Slow Poke saw victory slip away on Thursday when a eight-run second inning lead disappeared after a furious charge from ADT Restoration , who ended up with a 20-13 win at Polo Grounds.

Trevor Houston couldn't get it done on the hill for Slow Poke, taking a loss. He allowed 20 runs in five innings.

Slow Poke jumped out to an early 9-0 lead in the top of the first. Slow Poke's threat began with a single by Clay Wagner. A single by Trevor then moved Clay from first to second. Skyler Ferguson singled, plating Clay and Trevor. Slow Poke then tacked on more runs when Sage scored on an RBI single by Shelby Adair, Ferguson scored on an RBI single by Josh Haslam, Haslam and Adair scored on a three-run home run by Landon Watts, Probst scored on an RBI single by Trevor, and Wagner scored on an RBI single byRandall Sage.
