Placement Week

8pm vs Master Batters

L, 19-24

After being down eight runs entering the bottom of the fifth inning Pokes storm back with ten runs to take the lead.   Unfortunately instead of letting the remaining ten seconds run off the clock, Josh "Try Hard" Haslam swung for the fences... and dribbled the ball to the pitcher to give Master Batters another inning.  

This ended well.

There were still some bright spots in the game including Jordan "Whitesnake" Richardson blasting the first home run of his career to left field to go with his four hits.  Clay, Sage, Skyler, and Shelby all put up four hits also.  

9pm at Gunnell's Tires

W, 24-20

A great offensive game ends in a win.  

Josh P paced the way with three huge hits and another which had a little help to find grass.  A single in his last at bat completed the cycle.  He last hit for the cycle on October 10, 2013 against Master Batters.  He also finished the 6 RBI's.

Shelby and Skyler each went 3-4 (7-8 total) to finish their night at the top of the leaderboard with an .875 AVG.

Jordan, Clay, and Josh P were only one hit behind sitting at a .750 AVG.
