Chase Field
Pokes prove the value of a great training regiment in the off season as they pound eight long balls on the night and add another inside the parker for a total of nine. Thats good math right there.
9pm vs Phase 3
W, 19-11
Skyler started the night off with a triple and the runs piled up from there. After a few singles, Zak hit a bases loaded triple followed by a single from Jordan and then a massive homer from Laramie. The rest of the game was consistently won with solid line drives not to mention a sweet moon shot home run from Jordan down the left field line.
Incredible team game as Pokes only strand two runners total.

The hits kept coming the second game of the night as Trevor smoked a lead off blast into the left center stands. A single by Jordan, triple from Josh Helbert, and a double from Lisle capped off the inning with three runs and the team cycle.
Nine runs in the third were highlighted by an opposite field homer from Sage and a grip of singles and doubles.
After Balls Deep tied the score and complained up a storm they had a chance to take the lead in the fourth with a runner on second and nobody out. A fly ball to left was tracked down easily by Sage who camped underneath it catching it behind his back and then threw a strike to third to get the runner trying to advance on a tag up. Bonus points my friends!
After a great defensive inning Pokes put up six runs in the fifth to secure the victory. Shelby once again went deep for the clutch go ahead homer.
Two more bonus points go to Josh Helbert for not getting out the entire night.
