An awesome effort by Josh lifted Slow Poke to a 14-13 win in six innings over The Franchise on Thursday at the Polo Grounds.

Josh blasted two home runs for Slow Poke. He went 2-3 in the game with four RBIs and three runs scored. Josh came up clutch in the 6th inning hitting two home runs. 

Slow Poke was in a difficult situation in the fourth inning before they recovered for the win. Through five innings Franchise had a 13-3 lead and well in command. Jim lead off the top of the 6th with a walk and Josh brought him in with a long home run to left. Lamar, Trevor, and Bruce followed with singles. Jeremy walked for the third time in the game loading the bases and causing the yellow shirted pitcher to cry and argue with his left fielder walking off the field. Shelby then hit a screaming ground ball to the pitcher who knocked it done, but was unable to get anybody out. After a Tanner walk and a sacrifice fly by Zak, Sage hit a triple to right scoring two more bringing the score to 11-13. Josh ended the comeback with a big two-run homer to center scoring Jim.

Franchise had a chance in the bottom half of the 6th, but a bonehead running play cost them the win. 

9pm vs Grassholes

W 25-17

Pokes jumped out early and often as they defeat Grassholes easily. Pokes put up at least four runs in every inning cruising to the victory. Shelby and Tanner each had four hits and scored three times. 

The first four batters combined for 14 RBI's on the game with Sage leading the way with 6.
