8pm vs Sox 2 B U

W, 23-21

Sox 2 B U came out hot scoring 13 runs in the first two innings, but Pokes stayed close.  Slow Pokes entered the bottom of the 3rd trailing by four.  15 minutes later Pokes put 12 runs across the board.

Sage, Jim, and Shelby combined to a perfect 11-11 with 13 RBI's and 9 runs scored.

Slow Pokes as a team were clutch during the game scoring 13 times with two outs.

Fenway Park

9pm vs Wired Nutz

W, 26-16

Wired Nutz had a 13-5 lead entering the bottom of the 3rd and Pokes responded putting up 8 runs to tie it up.  Trevor shut down the offense in the 4th and Pokes then scored nine to seal the win.

Another all around display at the plate with every batter getting an RBI.  And by everyone we mean everyone except Lamar who was 3-4 with no RBI's.  

Shelby continued his offensive prowess with another 3 hits.  During his last five games he has hit at an .894 clip with 17 hits.  

Zak played well doing what a leadoff hitter should be doing going 5-5 and scoring 4 times.  

Trevor took control of the game showing a display of line drive after line drive going 4-4 and hammering 7 RBI's.

Mike and Josh provided HR's for good measure.  Honorable mention goes to Tanner who smoked a line drive at Rich who cried a little and folded after the hit.
