8pm vs Hit it Properly

W, 23-19

Pokes win first game back off 4th of July break.  

After giving three runs in the top of the first Pokes answered back with four in the bottom half.  Zak and Sage finally started a game with back to back hits to get the night started.  Clay then followed with a 3-R HR to left field and then Josh hit a homerun of his own.  

Hit it Properly scored two in the second, but Pokes then put up a two out rally that should've put the game out of reach.  

Pokes started the second with two quick outs and then scored 14 runs.  Tanner, Zak, Sage, Clay, and Jim each had two hits in the inning.  Hit it Properly responded by scoring 13 in the third, but it wasn't enough as Pokes scored five to finish the game.

Zak, Sage, and Clay paced the way going a combined 12 for 12 with 11 runs scored and 13 RBI's.  Clay led the way with 7 RBI's.

Chase Field

9pm vs Drunkyard Dogs

L, 14-18

Even with Mike setting records Pokes unable to come up with a win.

Drunkyard Dogs and Slow Poke went run for run down to the wire.

Sage, Josh, and Tanner all went 3 for 3, but were still overshadowed by Mike who hit three homeruns with 7 RBI's. His three homeruns were a record for most in a single game.
