An interesting night using the new Monsta demo bat. Mixed reviews as the bat performed fairly well for the first night. It seemed to only be enjoyed if it was hit on the exact sweet spot. If you missed the sweet spot it destroyed your hands...per Shelby and Skyler. Others hit solid all night with no complaints. Hard to tell the distance factor playing in the A League.

Slow Poke offense too much as they pounded Rednecks pitching.
A big first inning brought across ten runs as they never gave up the lead.
Pokes knocked out twelve hits including five triples and Clays first home run of the season in the first that proved to be enough. Rednecks were completely outmatched as they couldn't get anything going with their bats.
After quick three run innings in the second and third innings the fourth was big.
Sage led off the inning with a walk (as a good leadoff will do) and promptly went to third on Tanners double. Zak then surprised the world by hitting a triple (grounder through LF's legs) and bringing across Sage and Tanner. Clay walked and after a plethora of singles (Tyler, Landon, Josh H, and Sage), Tanner hit a two run ground rule double (second double of the inning).
The top three batters combined to go 12 for 15 with 11 RBI's and 10 runs scored and Skyler had a nice game with four hits as well, but the MVP goes to "He's not a Doctor He's a Dentist", Josh Haslam, who went 5 for 5 with a double, a triple, 6 RBI's, and 4 runs scored.

Pokes continued their onslaught in the second game of the night this time at the expense of Anthony's Team. Anthony was seen leaving the dugout midway through the fifth inning as he was disgusted by his teams play.
Sage got his record breaking night off with another triple to lead off the game. Tanner then ran all the way around the bases on a line drive to CF that got through the outifeld because there was no third base coach to tell him to stop. Zak then singled to attempt to have the most singles on the night (tied with Skyler, 7) and scored on a triple by Shelby. Clay then kept it going refusing to walk this time and smoking a line drive to LF for a single. Skyler doubled and then scored along with Clay on a single from Landon.
Josh and Trevor then found the long, lengthy third baseman grounding out and lining out respectively.
The second, third, and fourth innings were rather hideous as the only score came on a solo home run by Sage.
The fifth inning was an entirely different approach. Pokes put up fifteen runs on seventeen hits, thirteen of which were singles. Clay had a forgettable inning hitting a towering homerun for the first out and a not so towering foul popout to the first baseman for the third out.
Zak and Skyler capped off their nice night with five hits apiece (nine for the night), but Sage took home the game MVP going 6 for 6 with a double, two triples, two home runs, 10 RBI's, and 6 runs scored. His single in the sixth capped off the game by hitting for the cycle (first since April 18, 2013 vs Lucky Strikes) and giving him a Slow Poke record of 17 total bases in a game.
