9pm vs Strange Brew (AA)
W, 16-14
Josh P mashed again this time hitting a 375 foot bomb that found its way to the field behind the BLD grounds.
Another slow offensive start opened the door for Strange Brew to take an early lead which they kept all the way into the 5th inning. With Pokes trailing by four runs they needed some offense in a hurry. Sage started with a single followed by a scorching grounder passed first hit by Skyler. Nate and Shelby followed with singles of their own followed by some close plays in the infield to extend the inning with two outs. With the bases loaded Josh P reached at the first pitch and sent it deep into the nights sky scoring everyone. A quick two more runs by Clay and Trevor and Pokes took the lead 15-11 to enter the 6th.
With two outs and runners on first and second Sage took a hit away by diving 27 feet to his left and making a spectacular grab.
BLD was nice enough to send some footage of it.
