Clays big day not enough as Slow Poke can't shut down Bada Bings big bats.
Bada Bing took advantage of the big field in the first as Pokes opened the game with only eight players. Pokes answered with a huge first inning. Josh Haslam led off with a shocking home run over the left center field wall. The solos continued as Clays first at bat of the season was a good one hitting a line drive homer to left. Sage tripled and scored on a single from Josh Probst. Doubles by Jordan and Zak followed by singles from Josh H and Joshua Helbert brought around three more runs. With two runners on Clay sent another deep shot to left for his second home run of the inning.
Bada Bing continued to keep the pressure on with 11 runs and held Pokes for no runs in the second.
Pokes tried to keep it close in the third with a three run jack from Josh P that cleared the ballpark in right center. Jordan later hit an RBI double that hit third base on a line and dribbled to left field.
Bada Bing didn't stop putting up nine in the fourth inning and another five in the fifth.
Joshua and Clay led off the fourth with back to back home runs. After bringing another four runs across and being down only 22-29 Josh H showed his true team attitude as he stepped on the plate for an out and send the game to another inning. It proved to be worthless as Pokes scored no more runs in the game. Maybe we should swing away next time.

Skyler brought the heat as he only allowed one run over three innings for the game.
Although Pokes were able to put up runs in every inning but one the scoring was minimal for a SLOW PITCH softball game.
Clay had a nice game with a single, two doubles, and a triple, but only drove in one run. It was apparent the team needs more runners on base.
The highlight of the night came in the fourth with Josh P hitting a ball that seemed to not come down sailing over the Green Monster. It is believed that the ball landed on a walkway about 400 feet away, but could have landed further. After the game Zak found the ball, but did not get it as he said it was too far away to walk.
