Slow Poke start slow, but put up a 16 spot in the 3rd to take control.
After starting the game with only nine, Landon Watts, a familiar face, filled in to provide a spark.
With a huge 3rd, anomalies were in the air as Lisle highlighted the inning with not one, but two triples to right field. Pokes sent 20 batters to the plate and scored 14 runs with two outs.
It was smooth sailing after the big inning with the game ending on a sac fly from Clay to run out the clock.
The statistic software used will now keep track of the number of runners a batter leaves on base. An interesting thought as you come to the dish.
