6pm vs Tailgaters
L, 19-26
Pokes show true season colors as they fall apart in the final inning.
After starting off hot in the field and at the plate Pokes give away the game in the fourth with multiple errors and an absence of timely hitting.
The first inning started with a barrage of hits and an eight man team. After Shelby led off with a "Haslam like" moon shot in shallow left for the first out Josh Helbert roped a single followed by a 360 foot blast to left center by Sage. Pokes then got singles from Jordan, Todd, Lisle, Shelby, and another from Helbert while Zak had a double mixed in. Sage lined out to left, but Trevor and Jordan hit back to back doubles and Zak hit a homerun to left field. The second inning was solid with another five runs to keep the lead.
The rest of the game was crap with the exception of a homerun by Trevor that hit the foul pole.

What a game as Pokes act like a deer in a headlight. Pop ups, strike outs, and errors pave the way for another blow out. Only a few bright spots including Jordans misplay of a lazy fly ball ending in a tip drill, Shelby hitting a meaningless two run jack to left center, and J. Helbert ending the night perfect (10-10 last 3 games).

Plus... potential new rule for the lineup points system.
Every strikeout while batting is MINUS a point.
Thoughts/comments???
As a team we have 8 K's through 8 games. We are on pace to set the record for most K's in a season. Record is 17. We are on pace for 22!!!
