Strong hitting performance not enough to lead Slow Poke past The Franchise (AA)

Josh Haslam clubbed two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry Slow Poke to a win on Thursday, as Slow Poke fell to The Franchise 29-21 at Chase Field in four innings. 

Lisle took the loss for Slow Poke. He allowed 29 runs in four innings.
The Franchise never trailed after scoring six runs in the first.
Slow Poke got five-run rallies in the first inning and the fourth. In the first, Slow Poke scored on an RBI single by Zak Randall, bringing home Joshua Helbert
A two-run second inning helped bring Slow Poke within three. An RBI triple by Sage Randall and a sacrifice fly by Jordan Richardson fueled Slow Poke's comeback. Skyler Ferguson struck out to end the Slow Poke threat. 

The Franchise added 11 more runs in the top of the third. 

Nine runs in the bottom of the third helped Slow Poke close its deficit to 21-16. A solo home run by Josh Haslam, an RBI single by Helbert, a three-run double by Randall, an RBI single by Richardson, an RBI double by Ferguson, and a two-run home run by Josh Haslam gave Slow Poke life. 

The Franchise tacked on another eight runs in the fourth. 

Five runs in the bottom of the fourth helped Slow Poke close its deficit to 29-21. A walk by Randall, a bases loaded walk, an RBI single by Shelby Adair, a sacrifice fly by Ferguson, and an RBI single by Josh Haslam sparked Slow Poke's rally. Slow Poke's Larson flew out to end the ballgame.

Slow Poke musters 10 hits, drops 25-5 contest to Tailgaters (AAA)

Lisle went 2-3 at the plate, but Slow Poke fell 25-5 to Tailgaters at Chase Field on Thursday. 

Four of Slow Poke's runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Lisle. He singled in the second and fourth innings. 

Lisle was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 25 runs in four innings.

After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the second, Slow Poke faced just a 23-3 deficit. A two-run single by Lisle sparked Slow Poke's rally. Joshua Helbert ended the Slow Poke threat. 

Two runs in the bottom of the fourth helped Slow Poke close its deficit to 25-5. A two-run single by Lisle fueled Slow Poke's comeback. Nothing else occurred.
