Pokes lose after leaving nine runners stranded including two in the bottom of the seventh.
The early start time once again proved difficult as three players were late causing Pokes to recruit from the stands for a catcher. Luckily she filled in nicely behind the plate with no errors.
Jordan led off superbly with a scorching judy that fell in front of the right fielder. Sage followed it up with a monstrosity of a home run to left field.
After two fly outs from Haslam and Clay, Skyler strolled to the plate more determined than ever. While wondering what he could do with an extra $20 of Zaks money he wasted little time depositing the first pitch over the center field wall for his first career HR.
He ran the bases a little taller that day. He had hit a home run, and he hit it long, and good.
The rest of the game saw little to be excited about including three runners being "Shelby'd".

7pm vs The Franchise (AAA)
W, 20-18
Slow Poke fight back defeating Franchise in dramatic fashion to end the year on a high note.
It was a familiar start as Franchise put up a quick nine run lead in the first including a HR to left field that cleared the net and was thought to have not come down. After the game Sages boy, Bo, said he was walking to the parking lot and heard a loud bang. He looked at the wall of Yankee and saw the ball rolling away and into the parking lot. He quickly grabbed it and ran to the truck.
The first, second, and third innings were horrendous as Pokes only managed a combined five hits and two runs.
Going into the bottom of the fourth Pokes trailed 13-2. After a barrage of doubles from Jordan, Sage, and Clay Pokes showed signs of life. Skyler and Helbert singled setting the stage for a timely three run HR from Shelby.
Momentum continued as Trevor singled and Laramie walked for his second of the game. Helbert came in to run for Trevor which proved beneficial as Zak then brought them both around bringing the score 10-13. Two more singles from Jordan and Sage brought Zak into score and Slow Poke trailed only by two entering the last inning.
Franchise put up a nominal five runs leaving an opening.
It was a hit parade as Clay led off with a shot over the center field bleachers. Skyler, Helbert, Shelby, and Trevor all singled while Laramie followed with a sacrifice fly to center. Being down three runs with one out proved historically bad. Lisle was determined to change that roping a line drive down the right field line for a double putting runners on second and third. Zak knocked a single to right scoring Trevor and Lisle making the score 17-18. Jordan could end it with a blast, but instead smoked a line drive down the right field line that went out of play in the corner causing both runners to stay at second and third respectively. Sage walked to the plate, nervous as hell, with the game hanging in the balance. After two balls he watched the third pitch go deep. He thought he walked to load the bases for Haslam. Strike Two!
The final pitch came in at an appropriate speed and heighth. He swang and connected. A mighty roar came from the first base dugout as the ball sailed over the center field bleachers and out of the stadium. He rounded the bases cool, calm, and collected.
Game Over.
