6pm #1 Slow Poke vs #4 Sox 2 B U

Sox 2 B U came out quick with five runs to lead off the first. Slow Poke answered back with Sage smoking a triple off the right field wall and then scoring on a double from Trevor. Josh Probst knocked him in with another double of his own. After a singles from Skyler, Jordan, and Tylor, Josh Haslam hit a towering three run shot into the left center stands. Ross then scored on another triple by Sage ending the first with Pokes up 8-5.
Sox could only manage one run in the second while Slow Poke put up another six bringing the score to 14-6. Josh P led off with a triple followed by a short home run by Zak (left field foul pole). Skyler, Tylor, Josh H, and Ross all singled and then a double by Sage capped off the inning.
Another five runs in the third and ten more in the fourth finished off Sox 2 B U.
The fourth inning was highlighted by a Shelby three run homer, a Jordan inside the park home run, and then a Tylor SOLO blast deep to right center. Pokes scored all ten runs with no outs.
Fortunately Pokes were able to maintain their lead even with the atrocious base running. Josh H played observer while on second as a screaming ground ball tagged him in the leg. And how could we forget Ross... Nice base hit to center, no thanks I'll watch from the safety of the batters box.
Highlight of the night came when Sox 2 B U hit a grounder up the middle which was backhanded by Shelby who instinctively turned sideways and flipped the ball behind his back to second blindly for the force.

Slow Poke outlast ADT Restoration (AA) in high-scoring affair, 19-14
The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with six lead changes.
Slow Poke hit four home runs in the win. Home runs for Slow Poke came when Shelby homered in the second inning, Zak homered in the second inning, Skyler homered in the second inning, and Clay homered in the fourth inning.
Slow Poke pounded ADT Restoration pitching, as eight hitters combined for 22 hits, 17 RBIs and 16 runs scored.
Slow Poke jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Sage singled to ignite Slow Poke's offense. A single by Trevor then moved Sage from first to second. Josh P singled, scoring Sage.
It didn't take long for ADT Restoration to answer as it scored four runs of its own in the first.
Slow Poke went up for good in the fourth, scoring four runs on a solo home run by Clay, a sacrifice fly by Zak, and a two-run triple by Josh P.
Slow Poke tacked on another four runs in the fifth. Randall kicked things off with a double, plating Ross. That was followed up by Trevor's single, scoring Sage.
