In all playoff series it's important to have the lead off hitter start the game of to set the tone.  Pokes leadoff man struck out...
Luckily the team stepped up and put up great numbers on the night.
After Zak stuck out (fouled) to start the game Clay and Sage each got out for a quick opening at bat.
Josh P led off the second with a home run to left center that ended up in the maintenance yard.

Three doubles later (Trevor, Josh H, Jordan) and Pokes led 3-2.
After holding Mad Dogs to no runs Pokes put up a substantial lead with two run homers by Sage and Shelby and a two run triple from Landon.  Clay homered in the fourth and then Pokes put up 11 runs in the sixth to seal the win.  Sage, Josh P, and Trevor started the inning with singles setting the stage for Landons grand slam.  The scoring didn't stop there...well it did temporarily with Shelby and Josh H getting out.  Trevor, Jordan , and Zak all singled loading the bases again this time for Clay.  He didn't disappoint with a scorching line drive to left field for a bases clearing triple.  Sage, Josh P, Trevor H, Landon, Shelby, and Josh H all hit straight singles bringing their total to 23.
Trevor led the way with five hits.

Landon led the charge going 15 for 18 with 4 HR's and 23 RBI's.  Trevor Houston had a solid night with 15 hits as well scoring a team high 14 Runs.  Trevor Ferguson showed off his new found skills by blasting a ball deep into left field for his first home run.

Pokes kept the foot on the gas the entire game scoring in all seven innings.
Landon continued his power onslaught by hitting for the cycle
The second inning was one of the most important yet anti climactic one has ever seen.  Trevor Ferguson led off by smoking the first pitch into the left field stands for the first home run of his career.  After the ugliest triple of the year from Zak and Sage knocking him in on a simple sacrifice fly.  Josh Probst stepped up and hit a lazy fly ball to left center that cleared the fence for solo shot.  Although he apologized for the solo home run it was his 15th of the year setting a new single season home run mark.
Pokes were steady through the next four innings entering the seventh only up by six.
A big six run inning took Positive into the Negative sealing with win.  Clay and Shelby hit sac flys and Josh P hit an RBI triples.  The dagger came when Landon stepped to the plate needing a triple for the cycle.  He hit a towering drive to center that hit off the top inch of the wall and staying in play to complete the cycle and finish off Positive and their near perfect season.

After Pokes control the entire game they tried to give it up in the sixth.
Going into the seventh tied Pokes settle down and put the game away.
Zak walked followed by singles from Clay and Sage.  Josh P hit a sac fly to score Zak and advance the runners.  Trevor H was intentionally walked to set up the double play, but little did Mad Dogs know that Slow Poke had Landon waiting on deck.  Landon wasted no time putting the next pitch into the seats for another grand slam.  Shelby strolled to the plate going back to back with another home run.  Later in the inning Clay hit a three run tater to left giving Pokes a comfortable ten run lead.  Sage followed with a line drive to center which he immediately had flashbacks as he went into third for a healthy triple.
To end the night of awesomeness Pokes gave up a few hits and then completed a beautiful triple play on a grounder to Zak who touched his base, threw to Landon at second, and then on to Shelby to complete it.
